Due to increased disposal costs and the regular overfilling of 10-yard dumpsters, we will be updating our dumpster rental policies and pricing effective January 1, 2026.
While we’re encouraged by recent lower fuel costs, and positive economic indicators, many of the disposal costs we pay when dumping our customers loads are never-the-less increasing for 2026. The largest increases are coming from Hennepin, Ramsey, and Washington county, with some of the their fees skyrocketing. We’ve kept pricing and weight limits the same the last 2 years, but we must make some adjustments going into 2026.
2026 Changes for MSW (residential/commercial trash, junk, household cleanout dumpsters)
For 2026, 10-yard and 14-yard dumpsters will be priced the same. Both dumpsters have the same length and width, with the 14-yard dumpster being 12 inches taller in height than the 10-yard. The weight limit for both the 10-yard and 14-yard dumpsters will be 2,500lbs. The rental cost will remain the same as the 2024 and 2025 14-yard price, at $399 for up to 1 week rental.
In addition, the weight limit for 20-yard dumpsters has been reduced to 3,500lbs, the price has increased by only $10 to $475 for up to 1 week rental.
2026 Changes for Construction/Demolition debris dumpsters
Similar to MSW rentals, 10 and 14-yard dumpsters for construction/demolition debris will both be priced at $399 for up to 1 week rental. Weight limits for both dumpsters will be 3,500 lbs.
20 yard dumpster pricing has been increased $10 to $475, the weight limit for construction debris in 20 yard dumpsters remains the same at 6,000 lbs.
These changes help us manage rising disposal costs while continuing to provide reliable service and straightforward pricing. If you have questions about which dumpster size is best for your project, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Other pricing changes for 2026
Our disposal costs have also increased on many “extra charge” and prohibited items.
- Mattresses/Box Springs have increased to $60 each ($100 each in Hennepin County if not declared/paid before disposal)
- Couches/Loveseats/Recliners have increased to $40 each
- Appliances have increased to $75 each minimum, up to $150 each determined by transfer station charges (up to $300 for commercial appliances)
Hennepin county has substantially increased their fees as well. Hennepin County facilities are the most common destination for MSW rentals in our core service area of Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Champlin, Maple Grove, Plymouth, New Hope, Crystal, Robbinsdale, and Minneapolis. We do our best to avoid these fees whenever possible by diverting questionable loads to other facilities, but cannot foresee every possible scenario, especially if prohibited items are hidden within the load. If your load is assessed any of these fees, they will be added to your invoice. If you know there will be oversized items (treadmills, exercise equipment, grilles, etc.) in your load, please let us know ahead of time so we can divert your load to other facilities.

Thank you for your understanding and continued business. Please reach out if you have any questions!
